'A Kind of Murder' has two different women dying in same location

A KIND OF MURDER from MAGNOLIA. I streamed this online from "Amazon" for $6.99. It was released in US theaters on Dec. 16, 2016. According to "Box Office Mojo" that tracks box office receipts. It has garnered only $2,008. It is also with video-on-demand which will have more numbers.

This film is set at New York in the 1960's and is based on the novel called, "The Blunderer." Two different women die behind a bar & grill. The first woman is the wife of a bookstore owner. The second woman is the wife of a successful architect. This architect writes on his free time and is intrigued by the first woman's suspected murder. He visits the book owner and that's where things begin to unravel for the architect. His own wife's body is found behind that bar & grill under a bridge. A police detective believes both men killed their wives, but cannot prove it. We don't see him investigate, only speculate.

There is a confrontation after one husband cracks under pressure. It doesn't end well and did both men commit murder? That's where the film leaves us. Check it out if you want.
