Kono tells Chin Ho that he might be too involved with Sarah who he lost in a custody battle. She lives in Mexico with her aunt and uncle who Chin Ho believed to be drug dealers. He has no proof of this. Sarah is the daughter of Gabriel who was killed by an underground gang. He was also a criminal who caused a lot of problems for Chin Ho and the “Five-0” team.
