'Unsolved Mystery' FBI ends investigation of hijacker DB Cooper after 45 years

2016. The FBI decided to close the case of D.B. Cooper after decades with no real answers. It is now "legend" after Cooper jumped from a 727 plane over the forest of southern Washington state. The legend grew as the FBI and "arm chair" detectives tried to solve the mystery. The TV show, "Unsolved Mysteries" with host Robert Stack covered the case during the late 1980's. The show interviewed surviving individuals from the FBI, police investigators, stewardesses and the airplane pilot. The "Cooper" episode is now packaged in the special DVD called, "Strange Legends" from Amazon.com
