Spoiler Alert 'Elementary' Season Finale was kind of a shocker

ELEMENTARY on CBS. The TV crime show has been renewed for a 7th TV season by the network. There has not been any announcement yet on when that season will begin. Let's hope they keep it on Monday night's in 2019.

SPOILER ALERT. If you haven't watched the season finale episode, "Whatever remains, however improbable." Stop reading....

There was a shocker in the finale episode and I couldn't believe it. Joan Watson became the main suspect in the murder of Michael who was a serial killer. The FBI wanted to throw her into prison. Sherlock did everything he could to keep his partner out of jail. He uncovered the truth involving Captain Gregson. It turns out that he covered up Michael's murder because it was his daughter who killed him. Gregson wouldn't help Watson either and was willing to let her go to prison.

Watson empathized with Captain Gregson's feelings and decided not to go to the FBI with his cover up. Sherlock was furious and confessed to killing Michael himself. He got the gun that killed him from Gregson's daughter and handed it over. The FBI took the confession and couldn't arrest Sherlock because he fled to London. They won't extradite him back to the U.S. He said an emotional goodbye to Watson. Their consultant work under Captain Gregson is over, who will soon retire anyway. Detective Bell is also leaving the police department to train as a U.S. Marshall. Their time in New York City is over.

The surprise here is when Sherlock returned to London and 221-B "Baker Street." He continues his work as a consultant detective. Watson had followed him to England and moved in next door to Sherlock. They will now solve murders in London. It will be an interesting season 7.
