“Dateline” (NBC) was seen Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (mountain time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Last night’s episode on Sept. 28, 2018 was called, “On the outskirts of town.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.87 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.7 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Blue Bloods” (CBS) grabbed 8.69 overall & 0.9 with adults. “20/20” (ABC) nabbed 3.46 overall & 0.7 with adults.
“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Andrea Canning.
“On the outskirts of town.” Newburgh, Indiana is a small town where the murder of Halee rocked the community. Her dead body was found near a soccer field with a single gunshot wound to the head. Police investigators discovered that she had struggled to live and died a slow death. Halee was the Godmother of a child who had died after a fall down the stairs. She was suspicious of the child’s father who may have dropped or threw his baby down those stairs. Halee had contemplated on speaking with police about her suspicions. Did those suspicions get her killed because the father, Thaddeus had a violent "bad-boy" image?
