PERSON OF INTEREST on CBS. Well, last night's final episode did not disappoint. It marked the end of 5 TV seasons and we had to say goodbye to John Reese and Harold Finch. I don't think Harold survived his gunshot wound and went to a happier place where his great love was waiting for him. I remember distinctly that "samaritan" killed his girlfriend as a sacrifice for the greater good of his work. As for John Reese, it was fitting that he sacrificed his life for Harold who was a good friend. John always wanted to die, from the very beginning, after his own wife was killed. Both died for their work in saving other lives.
I was so glad Shaw took revenge on Root's death. She killed the man who shot Root from the top of a building. I thought it was great that Root came back as the voice of the first machine. She said goodbye to Shaw in her own way. Detective Fusco was wounded, but survived. Him and Shaw said their goodbyes as the first machine came back to life. It calls Shaw on a pay phone and the story might continue. Great end to a very good TV show.
