OJ: MADE IN AMERICA on ESPN. I watched Part Five which began with the verdict in the criminal case of O.J. Simpson. He was found "Not Guilty" in the double murder of Nicole Brown Simpson & Ron Goldman. It was a seminal moment in his life, but it also began his pathetic downfall. He was shunned by his rich "white" neighbors who once adored him. They believed that he got away with murder.
O.J., tried to go to the black community after the "Not Guilty" verdict. It wasn't "him" because he shunned them all his life. (That is except for rich black athletes). He was considered a "white" American. His visit was empty & it was also a "put on" for that community because nobody wanted him anymore. Nobody..., He lost everything after the Civil Trial including his Brentwood home. So, he moved to Florida.
The man fought hard to regain his fame, but was reduced to a retread of "candid camera" called, "Juiced." He did a sorry attempt at a Rap Video & hung around second-rate celebrity mongers. There were parties, drugs & reliving his glory days. He made a desperate attempt to write a book called, "If I did it", meaning if he killed Nicole & Ron. It marked the end of whatever good that was in his life. Those second-rate celebrity mongers got him into trouble with his memorabilia at Las Vegas, Nevada.
O.J., lead the way with his comedy troupe who tried to act like gangsta's. It was all caught on camera. Kidnapping, robbery & gun possession. It landed O.J., in prison for 33 years & America doesn't care, nor does Black America. He is now reduced to cleaning bathrooms in prison. What remains is the tragic loss of Nicole Brown Simpson & Ronald Goldman who were brutally murdered over celebrity, fame, race, privilege & rage.
