48 HOURS (CBS) was seen on Saturday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired at 8 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. Last night’s 2-hour episode on Dec. 23, 2017 was called, “The Evidence Room.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.1 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “NFL Football” (NBC) grabbed 2.95 overall & 0.6 with adults. “The great Christmas light fight” (ABC) nabbed 2.17 overall & 0/5 with adults (8-11 p.m.).
“48 Hours” is a news program that covers crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Tracy Smith.
“The Evidence Room.” The state of Ohio. New Year’s Eve 2014. Colleen McKernan shot her husband Rob 10 times and killed him. She claimed self-defense after being charged with murder. Scott Roder is an animation specialist who constructs evidence of crime scenes. He was hired by Colleen’s defense attorney to build evidence in her murder case. She is the only eye witness after gunning down her husband. Prosecutors say that she planned to kill Rob for his life insurance which was worth $200,000.
The defense says that Colleen only held the gun and was going to leave a domestic quarrel. Prosecutors say that it was actually Rob who was going to leave. He was dressed to do so. That’s when she shot him. Colleen served in the Air force and held two “guns” on her wedding day. Rob had been charged before with domestic violence. They were married for less than a year. Scott’s team looked at Colleen’s "state of mind" right from the moment she unloaded that first bullet. She had shot Rob so close that the gun powder splattered across his face.
Scott says that if Colleen shot Rob in the face first. It was self-defense. Prosecutors say that it was murder because she shot him in the back first. What does the evidence say to the jury?

It was clear this man was trying to flee💯 The defenses own animated evidence agree with the prosecution little did they know. Or did they. 🤔, This lady was an ex Marine, a trained professional. She said she went back to her training. One to the head, 2 to the chest, right. Those 3 shoots would have dropped him in that very spot.. The mouth shoot was a suicide shot,, dropped right at that spot💯 Well bullet number 1 was marked down the hall by bedroom and bath, right. He fell dead on his back dead down the hall in the KITCHEN With bullet number 6 at his feet or waist ,right. 🤔🙄 The kitchen is usually near the front door and bedroom and bath at the back of the house as the animation shows. He was leaving and she was AGGRESSING DOWN THE ALL AFTER HIM SHOOTING, RIGHT.. 🙄 YES ABUSE IS HORRIBLE AND THE ABUSSER CRIED HER LYING KILLING SELF OUTTA A MURDER THAT SHE DID DO💯 WHILE HER ABUSED AND DEAD HUSBAND WAS MADE THE VILLIAN. SHE TRIED TO SHOT HIS PRIVATE PARY FOR GOD SAKE. SMH. 3 SHOOTS, SELF DEFENSE, 10 SHOOTS SHOWS ANGER WHICH EQUALS MURDER 💯
Also, she first said he was leaving saying something about her calling the police on him, she did not know what he would do, she KEPT a loaded gun in the room so she got it and started shooting.
Then, he was yelling in her fast, she doesn't know what he was saying. He scared her so she KILLED HIM🤔 I heard not one story from anyone but her about physical abuse.
RIGHT BEFORE SHE KILLED HIM, SHE got them thrown out of a party because SHE wouldn't stop yelling at HIM Verbal abuse in front of people right, from HER, RIGHT.. SMH
