The fictional British crime series debuted in 2011 and garnered 6.60 million TV viewers overall for ITV. Each episode is no less than 90 minutes and there are 4 complete segments in each TV season. The 7th TV season has jumped in popularity grabbing 8.01 million TV viewers overall. Filming has begun for the 8th TV season that will air in 2018.
Brenda Blethyn is fantastic in her role as Vera. This is my favorite British crime show as of late. I've watched every episode. You never guess who the murderer is. Check it out.
