I heard about this murder mystery and I'm glad I found it. I was absolutely "glued" to it from start to finish. Check it out because you will not be disappointed.
It's based on a true story involving police commander Noredin Mostafa at Cairo, Egypt. A Sudanese maid witnessed a murder at a hotel. A singer/model is the victim and she's connected to a popular politician. From the start, we follow Noredin's every move in this murder case. The death is ruled a suicide, but changes to homicide after incriminating photos land in Noredin's hands. We see his thoughts about everything around him and it is fascinating...,
The maid's life is in danger and she disappears on the streets. The police believe she has been killed. Noredin is sucked into something darker after he has a "one-night-stand" with another female singer. It seems that he is the only one good cop. A revolution against the government begins and covers the murder case. It becomes bigger than Noredin who fights hard to separate good from evil.
The movie has English "subtitles" and the film soundtrack is fantastic. I can't wait for it to come out on BluRay.
