'Dateline' A mother strangled, tortured & killed in own home

Dateline” (NBC) was seen Saturday evening at 8/7 p.m. It aired at 7 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Last night’s episode on Dec. 30, 2017 was called, “A Cold December Morning.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.35 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.8 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Hawaii Five-0” (CBS) grabbed 2.96 overall & 0.3 with adults. “The Bachelor: Countdown to Arie” (ABC) nabbed 1.31 overall & 0.2 with adults. 

“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Keith Morrison. 

“A Cold December Morning.” Washington State. Clay Starbuck and his wife Chanin were married twice. They took care of five kids, but couldn’t make it work. They headed toward a divorce. Both had lived in two different homes, but in the same neighborhood. Chanin didn’t pick up the kids after school on Dec. 1, 2011. Police got into her home and found her dead in the bedroom. She was naked, strangled who was tortured. Detectives then looked at her cell phone and discovered that Chanin had met male strangers from an online dating website. Who killed this beautiful mother of five children?
