CBS refusal to air Ads for movie TRUTH goes viral on internet

In a 24 hour period. The film TRUTH was released into select theaters in the US on Friday October 16, 2015. CBS refused to air commercial ads for the movie & that news went viral. "CBS Can't Handle the Truth" said one glaring headline. Paramount studio executive Summer Redstone owned a majority of Viacom & CBS in 2004. He supported Bush in the Presidential campaign of that year. CBS President Les Moonves held his own investigation into the supposed forgery of the 1970's documents that said Bush went AWOL during his post states-side in the Vietnam War.

Internet Bloggers claimed those documents were forged with 2004 internet "fonts" & didn't look like a typewriter "font" from the 1970's. It turns out that only a portion of those documents were forged - but not all. Producer Mary Mapes ran the story of Bush's AWOL for 60 MINUTES II which was reported by Dan Rather. Him, Mary & her news team were crucified in the press for bad journalism. All of them are gone now from CBS & Viacom sold its' stock with the studio.

TRUTH is based on the book written by Mary Mapes. Dan Rather supports the film & the reporting of that story back in 2004. Click on the photo for breakdown of what actually happened in 2004. (I want to see the film now even more).
