"Ktown Cowboys" opened in limited theatrical release plus VOD

KTOWN COWBOYS. According to "Box Office Mojo" which tracks box office receipts. The film grossed $18,000 on 4 movie screens as of March 31, 2016. You can also find it with "Video-On-Demand" on several internet platforms. It is based on the popular YouTube Series of the same name. There are 8 short episodes, plus a bonus one featuring Bobby Lee (MAD-TV) which is pretty funny.

The movie follows 5 best friends who live in Korea Town at Los Angeles. The web-series brought in a male relative from Virginia to be introduced to K-Town. He is left out of the film. The movie characters party hard in K-Town who eventually have to face adulthood. (Daniel Dae Kim makes an appearance. He portrays Chin Ho on TV's "Hawaii Five-0").

The "K-Town Cowboys" series is not to be confused with the Reality TV series called only "K-Town." That show followed 8 characters (4 women & 4 men) through K-Town that lasted 2 TV seasons on YouTube (2012-13). It was not renewed by producers after 17 short episodes.
