"Mr. Selfridge" His gambling debts are due & time is running out

MR. SELFRIDGE on PBS. The Dolly Sisters make their silent film debut which is backed by Harry who wrote a $50,000 check. His gambling debts are due also & Harry cannot pay with installments. He has to pay in full to his gaming agent. Meanwhile, Frank got drunk & slept with a female reporter. He spurned her the next morning & she wrote a story on Harry's daughter Rosalie. Harry threatens to pull advertising from that newspaper if a retraction is not written. Frank hides his one-night-stand from Kitty & says he wants children with her. They never wanted kids because of their work.

The Dolly Sisters have used up $70,000 in gambling debts & it was charged to Harry. He is running out of patience with them. Mr. Grove has not told Harry that he has cancer. Miss Mardle thought that he would tell everyone. They re-connect on a personal level & decide to talk about it. Mardle has changed who is now dressed in New York fashions. She is very independent & lovely. They were once the best of friends before getting intimate a few years back. They made many mistakes since then.
