CASTLE on ABC. It all changed last year for the 8th TV season when show-runners were changed. Actress, Stana Katic who portrays detective Kate Beckett didn't work to renew her contract for the 9th TV season. Nathan Fillion who portrays Rick Castle renewed his contract for a possible 13 episode order. But, ABC has not yet renewed CASTLE for the 9th season.
Too bad -- because Castle & Beckett had great chemistry. He based his murder mystery books on her detective. TV fans want it to end because the reason they watched was because of the two lead characters. Even if the 9th TV season goes forward. They have to find a new female detective for Castle to bond with. I actually loved Beckett & think that she is one sexy detective. I will probably stop watching after she leaves the show.
