'Desierto' opens in U.S. Theaters Oct. 14, 2016

DESIERTO from STX Entertainment. This US/Mexican border thriller has been on the film festival circuit. It opens in U.S., theaters on Friday Oct. 14, 2016. One trailer introduction was created using the illegal immigrant speech by Donald Trump. He is the Republican nominee for President of the United States. His stance on illegal immigrants sparked controversy because he expects Mexico to pay for a wall too keep Mexicans out. (Watch trailer below for what this film is about).

STX Entertainment says, "What begins as a hopeful journey to seek a better life becomes a harrowing and primal fight for survival when a deranged, rifle-toting vigilante chases a group of unarmed men and women through the treacherous U.S.-Mexican border. In the harsh, unforgiving desert terrain, the odds are stacked firmly against them as they continuously discover there’s nowhere to hide from the unrelenting, merciless killer."
