LONGMIRE on NET-FLIX. S05E08. The
modern western can be seen streaming online at “Netflix.” The
eighth episode is called, “Stand your ground.” There are no TV
ratings to report.
“Longmire” stars, Robert Taylor
(Sheriff Walt Longmire), Katee Sackhoff (Victoria 'Vic' Moretti), Lou
Diamond Phillips (Henry Standing Bear), Cassidy Freeman (Cady
Longmire) & Adam Bartley (The Ferg).
“Stand your ground.” Cady is facing
charges of killing the abusive husband who tormented his native wife.
She shot him with the gun Jacob gave her and it was a gun she didn't
know how to use. Walt goes to his daughter's side, but is caught up
with the Irish mob. The head of that mob tells Walt that he pulled
out of the “Four Arrows” Indian Casino. No more drugs and no more
prostitution. Henry finds a book ledger that belonged to Malachi and
he gives it to Jacob. Malachi has been receiving money off the top of
all the drugs.
Cady's lawyer gets the murder charges
dropped on a “stand your ground” law in Wyoming. The tribal
community accepts her for taking a gun to the “white man menace.”
She now has too many native clients. Jacob gives her a list of names
to hire on as employees. It is a political move because those names
are related to tribal council members. Jacob wants to keep his job.
