“Down the back staircase.” Michael
Peterson found his wife Kathleen at the bottom of the stairs back in
December of 2001. There were washes of blood on the walls in
that staircase. She had died. Michael said his wife fell down the
stairs and it was an accident. Police detectives began to believe
that it wasn't just a fall. Michael claimed that the police were out
to get him. He wrote untruths about them in his newspaper column. He then became the prime suspect in Kathleen's supposed death fall.
Their marriage was split wide open and they were in heavy financial
debt. The autopsy report revealed that Kathleen was bludgeoned in the
head. Michael also hired a male escort during his marriage.
