'Elementary' Sherlock discovers a magician was killed during his 'Act'

“Elementary” (CBS) can be seen each Sunday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) in Albuquerque, NM on KRQE 13. Last night's episode on April 23, 2017 was called, “The art of sleights and deception.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.57 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Shades of Blue” (NBC) grabbed 4.09 overall & 0.7 with adults. “American Crime” (ABC) nabbed 1.84 overall & 0.3 with adults.

“The art of sleights and deception.” Detective Bell is accused of pulling a gun on another driver on the street. He denies this claim because that male driver only said he cut him off. Internal Affairs has been notified and Bell has to defend himself. A female lawyer with whom he is now dating had recently gone through a divorce. Her husband tried to intimidate and harass Bell. Meanwhile, Sherlock discovers that a male magician has been murdered. He was shot during an “act” where he catches a bullet from a discharged gun. Sherlock interviews a female magician who says the gun “act” was stolen from her by the dead man.
