A KILLING ON THE CAPE for ABC. This is an in-depth look which has multiple episodes. I have not listened to it yet. Susan Spencer with "48 Hours" will revisit this murder case on Saturday Nov. 18, 2017 at 9/8 p.m. (CBS). I'm gonna watch that first and then go to the podcast. 

ABC says, "It was a crime that rocked an idyllic seaside town in Cape Cod -- The 2002 murder of Christa Worthington, who was found stabbed to death with her 2-year-old daughter, unharmed at her side. What came next was a three-year search for her killer that would involve unorthodox steps by police, a lengthy list of potential suspects, and an entire town under suspicion. Christa's trash collector, Christopher McCowen, would eventually be convicted of the crime, but his trial would raise questions about the evidence, investigative methods, and whether racial prejudice played a role." 

"Now, ABC Radio and "20/20" take a look at all the evidence and for the first time ever, hear directly from Christopher McCowen, to examine whether the right man is behind bars. New episodes post Wednesday mornings."

An all new '48 Hours' Saturday Nov. 18, 2017

'48 Hours' Woman guns down her boyfriend 9 times claiming rape

48 HOURS (CBS) can be seen each Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. Last night’s episode on No. 11, 2017 was called, “Reality Kills.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.18 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Saturday Night College Football” (ABC) grabbed 6.38 overall & 1.9 with adults. “SNL Vintage” (NBC) nabbed 2.58 overall & 0.6 with adults.

“48 Hours” is a news program that covers crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Erin Moriarty. 

“Reality Kills.” Sept. 13, 2013. The reality TV show called, “Homicide” captured everything on camera during a police investigation. Victoria Rickman had called 911 Emergency claiming that she shot and killed her boyfriend Will Carter Jr. She said he had raped her and to make it all stop. She fired 9 bullets into his body. Victoria was arrested for murder after police found no evidence of a violent rape. 

The “Homicide” episode was never shown to the jury at trial. It painted a picture of guilt and murder at the hands of Victoria. It was one of the first episodes to air which Victoria disputes as lies that might convict her. The real police detectives of “Homicide” were witnesses for the prosecution. Did the TV show influence the verdict?

'Hawaii Five-0' The team holds an intervention on Steve

“Hawaii Five-0” (CBS). Can be seen each Friday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired at 8 p.m. (central time zone) on KRQE 13 at Albuquerque, NM. Last night’s episode on Nov. 3, 2017 was called, “Mohala i ka wai ka maka o ka pua.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 9.1 overall. It reached 1.1 in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Dateline” (NBC) grabbed 5.11 overall & 0.9 with adults (9-11 p.m.). “Inhumans” (ABC) nabbed 1.95 overall & 0.5 with adults.

“Hawaii Five-0” stars, Alex O'Loughlin (Steve McGarrett), Scott Caan (Danny Williams), Taylor Wily (Kamekona), Chi McBride (Lou Grover), Tani Rey (Meaghan Rath), Beulah Koale (Junior Reigns) & Jorge Garcia (Jerry Ortega).

“Mohala i ka wai ka maka o ka pua.” Two young men are stopped by police on the highway. They both are shot to death by an officer with the last name of "Mathas." His face is never seen who calmly walks away after the shooting.

Meanwhile, the “Five-0” team holds an intervention on Steve. They are worried about his health after being exposed to radiation. It could cause cancer. Steve listens to each of his co-workers and their concerns.

One of the male victims recorded the shooting with his iPhone. Steve and Danno look at the footage and discover that "Mathas" died a few years ago. Who is the killer and why is he using a dead man’s identity?

'Dateline' A woman's dead body is found after apartment fire

“Dateline” (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired at 8 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Last night’s episode on Nov. 10, 2017 was called, “Black Friday.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 5.11 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.9 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Hawaii Five-0” (CBS) grabbed 9.1 overall & 1.1 with adults. “Inhumans” nabbed 1.95 overall & 0.5 with adults.  

“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Keith Morrison. It was also the last hour of a 2-part segment. 

“Black Friday.” Fort Worth, Texas. Ashley Harris had always believed that she would die young. Her belief came true in 2014 on the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday). Ashley’s apartment had caught fire and she was found dead inside it. The police discovered that she was severely beaten and her throat was slit. 

A neighbor had seen an unrecognizable black “infinity” car parked in front of Ashley’s apartment at 7 a.m. That car belonged to a woman named “Carter” who used to work alongside Ashley. Police found that car sitting outside Carter’s apartment two days later. They had also seen an unknown male and Carter getting into her car. Who is this man and did he know Ashley?

A MURDER ON ORCHARD STREET from ABC. The true crime docu-series premiered on Oct. 3, 2017. There are 7 segments and as of today, Friday Nov. 10, 2017. It has aired 5 episodes. Check it out. I'm actually glued to the podcast. I love a good murder mystery and this is intriguing.

ABC says, "In 2003, Burke O'Brien was murdered on Orchard Street in New York City - a murder that is still unsolved. Now, a new lead and renewed effort to solve the case."

She now has to testify in court that it was self-defense. Meanwhile, Lou is invited by a convict on death row who will be executed. That prisoner is named Sabastian who wants to make a confession.

A man named Tyler had been shot dead inside his truck. He was transporting pigs in a remote area. Danno and Tani investigate. She talks about a Hawaiian myth about a goddess and her relationship with a half-man plus half-pig. If someone gets stranded in the forest in their vehicles. The goddess appears with a dog. People soon die after seeing her. Danno doesn’t believe this myth, but there are dog prints at the crime scene. Is this myth true or not?

“Secrets in Silver Lakes.” The Mojave Desert at California. The city of Silver Lakes was built from the ground up. That included those deep, clear, water lakes. Robert and Sabrina Limon were known as the happiest married couple. Rob had just turned 38 years old in 2014. He was then found at his workplace shot to death. Police investigated and it looked like Rob had faced his killer. Two bullets had hit him in the chest and the head. There was no empty bullet casings at the crime scene. Security footage had spotted an unknown male entering Rob’s workplace. That man is later seen running away. Who is he and is he Rob’s killer?

'48 Hours' Pre-empted by College Football Saturday Nov. 4, 2017

48 HOURS on CBS. This weekend's episode will be pre-empted by NCAA Football "LSU@Alabama." 6 to 11 p.m. "48 Hours" will return next week with an all new episode.

HINT: If fans cannot wait for a TV Preview of 48 HOURS. Watch the end of last week's episode called, "Storm of Suspicion." Erin Moriarty reports on the next intriguing episode. It will not disappoint. 

NOTE: This has been a great TV season so far. By the way -- We all miss Susan Spencer and Troy Roberts.
