NBC 'Dateline' episode 'Breaking Point' with Josh Mankiewicz

DATELINE on NBC. The episode called, "Breaking Point" aired earlier this year (2026). I listened to the podcast and was intrigued by the murder. We will never know the complete truth.

Morgan Fox (29 yrs.) was shot while getting into her car. She worked the graveyard shift as a package handler in a Fed-Ex building. It is the year 2020 (Covid) and what surprised me is the male "sexist" environment. They way the young men looked down on her because she is a woman. After her murder. The Fed-Ex company had to payout $4 million to Morgan's family. They never protected her as an employee. It makes you angry because this is 2020.

IMO - Fed-Ex is to blame for her death. The young man who killed her could've been stopped. He stalked another female worker before Morgan. She had to quit because of his stalking.

What is intriguing is the mystery surrounding her murder. There is no evidence placing the killer at the crime scene. The police detectives built a strong circumstantial case. The closest they came was the gunshot residue in the suspects car. He even washed his car twice on a rainy day. His alibi had his iPhone at his home and it is assumed he was there during the murder of Morgan.

We may never know what really happened because the killer will take it to his grave. His interview with Josh revealed nothing - but denial. He had answers for everything and will spend life in prison admitting nothing.
