THE FIFTH ESTATE on the CBC. (Edmonton, Canada). The news segment is called, "The Disappearance of Dylan Koshman" which might be a homicide. You decide on this short 20 minute news story.

The CBC says, "It's one of the oldest unsolved missing person cases in Edmonton's history. Dylan Koshman disappeared on October 11, 2008 after leaving his house, following a fight with his roommates. The fifth estate talks with family, witnesses and police and this Friday we bring you a significant development in the case."

'Dateline' A private investigator seeks missing woman

“Dateline” (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Last night’s episode on March. 16, 2018 was called, “Deep in the Woods.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.84 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “NCAA basketball tournament” (CBS) grabbed 3.84 overall & 1.1 with adults. “20/20” (ABC) nabbed 3.48 overall & 0.6 with adults. 

“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Andrea Canning. 

“Deep in the Woods.” North Carolina 2010. Kelli Bordeaux was an Army medic who had always liked helping people. Her husband Mike moved back to Florida because she said that their marriage was over. She also had a boyfriend named Justin who had moved in with her. They were in love, but marriage wasn’t on the horizon. Kelli went to a local bar “Froggy Bottoms” on Friday night. She went there by herself to unwind who was never seen again after that bar closed. 

The search for Kelli began, but it turned up nothing. Two men became persons-of-interest who were questioned by police. Time would pass with no leads on where Kelli might be. Her family always believed she was kidnapped. There was a stranger who turned out to be a private investigator. Can he help find Kelli whose missing case turned into a homicide?

'48 Hours' update March 17, 2018

'Blackjack: Sweet Science' Australian TV murder mystery 2004

BLACK-JACK: SWEET SCIENCE from JIGSAW ENTERTAINMENT. There are seven TV movies surrounding police detective Jack Kempson (Colin Friels) in Australia. He was demoted down to entering cold cases into a computer database. This after testifying against corrupt police officers. Jack works in the basement with a female blonde colleague and they re-discover old homicides that could be solved.

This is an excellent premise that doesn't follow the CSI formula or the cliche "cold case" TV shows. Jack battles hardcore mysteries as well as his own police boss upstairs. It gives us good drama. I cannot find the TV movie pilot episode online. It is however, packaged with the DVD discs.

To my surprise -- I found Alex O'Loughlin (Hawaii Five-0) in "Blackjack: Sweet Science" as Luke Anderson. He is credited as Alex O'Lachlan though.

This second TV movie surrounds a present day bank truck robbery involving two brothers, Brad and Luke Anderson. Jack is a friend of their mom whose husband was gunned down at a 1992 football game. The husband's murder comes up while Jack enters it into the computer database. He fights his boss so that he can investigate...,

'48 Hours' A popular hairstylist, Fabio is stabbed to death in Hollywood

48 HOURS (CBS) can be seen each Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. Last night’s episode on March. 10, 2018 was called, “Who Killed Fabio?” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.97 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “SNL Vintage” (NBC) grabbed 2.93 overall & 0.7 with adults. “NBA Saturday Primetime” (ABC) nabbed 2.05 overall & 0.6 with adults (8:30-11 p.m.).

“48 Hours” is a news program that covers crime and murder in the United States. Saturday night’s episode was reported and narrated by Michelle Miller. 

“Who Killed Fabio?” Los Angeles 2017. The “knock, knock” burglars were on a robbery spree breaking into celebrity homes. Police have security footage of two unknown males dressed in “hoodies.” They have never killed anybody after entering the homes. The One Million Dollar house of Fabio Sementilli was robbed and he was murdered by two intruders. They stole his Porsche car and ransacked his bedroom. They never took his wrist-watch that was worth $8,000. Other valuable items were left inside the home too. The recorded security system (DVR) was also stolen.

Police found traces of blood from another human on Fabio’s body. Did that blood belong to one of the “knock, knock” burglars? Or someone else?

“Holapu ke ahi, koe iho ka lehu.” Two unknown assailants break into a locked down building. They steal six containers of liquid chlorine gas. Those two turn out to be Adam and Jessie. They both have been part of a special task-force working to bring down an organized crime gang. They turned over the gas containers and two of them have disappeared. Adam believes they will be used as a dangerous chemical to kill human beings. One of the containers is accidentally opened and puts a man in a coma. The other container goesl missing. “Five-0” tracks down three other men who plan on releasing the last container of gas…,

Fans excited over movie trailer 'Mission Impossible 6: Fallout'

Hello everyone -- I checked my Blog numbers which are pretty high for several posts. Fans of "Mission Impossible" are loving the next installment which is the 6th in the Tom Cruise franchise. I had posted videos of Cruise breaking his foot during production. Also, the scenes where Cruise actually operates a helicopter on his own for the film. 

The trailer for "Mission Impossible 6: Fallout" has gotten ecstatic reviews across the board from fans.

It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “NHL Hockey” (NBC) grabbed 1.57 overall & 0.4 with adults (8-11p.m). “NBA Saturday Primetime” (ABC) nabbed 2.67 overall & 0.9 with adults (8:30-11 p.m.).

“The Good Girl.” New York 2010. The body of Michael Sinclair was found shot on the street. Two unknown males tried to rob Michael who resisted. They shot him three times. There was a phone “text” message sent to Noriella Santos from Michael. Security cameras also found them together at a nightclub the night before. She witnessed the shooting and fled the scene without calling 911 emergency. 

Noriella sent multiple “text” messages to her ex-boyfriend Daniel Kraeger. She told him that she had attempted to lure Michael out to the place where he was gunned down. The police arrested her and she claimed that Daniel influenced her to lead Michael to his death. She also said Daniel abused her mentally and physically. He then changed his “name” to have the image of a “street thug.” Who was responsible for Michael’s death?

A nine millimeter gun shell casing was found by a janitor. His wallet and cell phone were also left behind in a briefcase…,

“Secrets of the Emerald Coast.” Fort Walton Beach, Florida 2011. James Flanders was a pastor who was married to Tonya. He created a church from the ground up who became popular on “YouTube.” The couple took in Marie Carlson who was divorced and had a daughter. She had another baby and then completely disappeared. The church gossip said that an abusive boyfriend abandoned her to raise the child on her own. People also said she just left her baby behind for no reason at all. Marie’s family, friends and ex-husband thought there was something wrong. Her missing case lasted five years until 2016. What happened to this young mother?
