An all new 'Dateline' Friday June 15, 2018

DATELINE on NBC. It looks like the network is still airing brand new episodes. That's great news for TV fans like me. - Woohoo! 

The next episode is called, "The other side of paradise" that will air this Friday at 10/9 p.m. 

NBC says, "Keith Morrison follows a cold case for nearly 10 years, as a father in Hawaii fights to bring his daughter’s killer to justice despite one setback after another."

'48 Hours: NCIS' A young Marine wife disappears in desert

“48 Hours: NCIS” (CBS) can be seen each Tuesday evening at 10/9 p.m. It airs at 9 p.m. (mountain-time) at Albuquerque on the KRQE 13 station. Last night’s episode was called, “The Marine’s Wife.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.36 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “World of Dance” (NBC) grabbed 6.15 overall with 1.5 with adults. “The Last Defense” (ABC) nabbed 2.66 overall and 0.5 with adults. 

“48 Hours: NCIS” is an extension of the regular “48 Hours.” It focuses on military stories involving murder and mystery.

“The Marine’s Wife.” The Marine Combat Base at Twentynine Palms, California 2014. Erin Corwin left one morning in search of a hiking trail inside the “Joshua Tree National Park.” Her husband Jon worked on the base who called Erin’s mother. He told her that Erin was missing. The national park was a desolate area where it can get very “hot” in the desert. It can also be deadly if left out there without any water. Jon had a “never-may-care” attitude who acted unconcerned. There was a massive search without any results. Erin’s car was found, but it was nowhere near the national park. What happened to this young 19-year-old wife?

'Incredibles 2' Opens on 4,400 US movie screens Friday June 15, 2018

'Elementary' Michael gets Sherlock's attention

“Elementary” (CBS) can be seen each Monday evening at 10/9 p.m. It can be seen at 9/8 p.m. (mountain time) on the local KRQE station at Albuquerque. Last night’s episode was called, “Sober Companions.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.35 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all important 18-49 adult demographic. “American Ninja Warrior” (NBC) grabbed 2.57 overall & 0.7 with adults (Repeat 9-11 p.m.). “The 100,000 Pyramid” (ABC) nabbed 2.47 overall & 0.5 with adults (Repeat).

“Elementary” stars, Jonny Lee Miller (Sherlock Holmes), Lucy Liu (Joan Watson), Aidan Quinn (Captain Thomas Gregson) and Jon Michael Hill (Detective Marcus Bell).

“Sober Companions.” Michael tried to get close to Sherlock who has killed again. He strangled a woman named Mattie Williams. She is Hanna’s roommate who is the daughter of Captain Gregson. Sherlock looks at the dead body. She was dressed up with another woman’s clothes. A serial killer has emerged. Michael had previously told his drug addict group that he needed to get Sherlock’s attention. He had asked Sherlock to find a missing friend of his with whom he had already killed. Sherlock brushed him off while dealing with his PTSD headaches. Detective Bell and Watson discover a woman who was killed exactly like Mattie. She is from New Jersey.

Netflix 'The Staircase' premiere's in a 13 part story

THE STAIRCASE on Netflix. The death of Kathleen Peterson is the subject of this new documentary that is getting rave reviews. 

"Dateline" covered this already with "Reversal of Fortune." You can watch full episode over at NBC. 

Netflix says, "Accident or murder? After the mysterious death of his wife, author Michael Peterson watches his life go under the microscope."

'Dateline' A popular blonde law student goes missing

“Dateline” (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (mountain time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Last night’s episode on June 8, 2018 was called, “The Watcher.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.99 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.7 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Blue Bloods” (CBS) grabbed 4.83 overall & 0.4 with adults. “NBA finals game 4” (ABC) nabbed 12.86 overall & 4.4 with adults. 

“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Keith Morrison. 

“The Watcher.” Georgia 2011. Lauren Giddings was attending a school for Law. She disappeared after a pre-study night with friends. One of those friends got a spare key and searched Lauren’s apartment. Her purse, keys, iPhone and laptop were left behind. So was her car. She was supposed to move out and live with her recent boyfriend. Lauren had mentioned that she might have a “stalker.” Her friends brushed it off because she was just friendly to everyone. Police investigators found a human torso inside a trash bin. They had to make sure who it was. What is Lauren?

Last night’s episode was called, “A Date with Evil.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.60 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “World of Dance” (NBC) grabbed 6.52 overall with 1.6 with adults. “Splitting up Together” (ABC) nabbed 1.87 overall and 0.4 with adults.

“A Date with Evil.” Cold case homicide 2012. Brittany Killgore was packing her bags and returning home. She had decided to split with her “Marine” husband who was serving in Afghanistan. Louis Perez showed up at her door who was also a Marine. He invited her on a date, but she said, “No” because she felt bad vibes coming from his direction. His girlfriend Dorothy gave Brittany permission to go on this friendly dinner date. Louis kidnapped her and they never left the town of Follbrook, California. She completely vanished. NCIS claims that Louis led a double life. What happened to Brittany?

'Elementary' a man's finger is used as a computer 'Thumb Drive'

“Elementary” (CBS) can be seen each Monday evening at 10/9 p.m. It can be seen at 9/8 p.m. (mountain time) on the local KRQE station at Albuquerque. Last night’s episode was called, “Give me the finger.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.72 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all important 18-49 adult demographic. “Stanly Cup Finals Game 4” (NBC) grabbed 4.72 overall & 1.5 with adults (8-11 p.m.). “The crossing” (ABC) nabbed 3.04 overall & 0.6 with adults.

“Give me the finger.” A man is found by fire fighters who it turns out was murdered. The apartment was set by arson and the man’s finger has been cut off. Sherlock believes that the man had a prosthetic finger that held a computer USB that contained information. The man was a computer expert technician. They find out that his finger was a “thumb drive.” He had paid a woman on the “dark web” after helping him create that finger…,

Meanwhile, Captain Gregson finds out that his daughter is an alcoholic. She has been drinking for many years.

'20/20' ABC News Radio Podcast is compelling murder mystery

“20/20” (ABC) can be seen each Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m., on the local Albuquerque TV station KOAT 7. Friday’s episode was called, “Secrets Six Feet Under” on June 3, 2018. It garnered 3.86 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.7 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Blue Bloods” (CBS) grabbed 5.50 overall & 0.5 with adults (repeat). “Dateline” (NBC) nabbed 2.73 overall & 0.5 with adults.
