PBS "Downton Abbey" Lord Merton's son Larry insults the family & Isobel at the dinner table. He is a pompous jerk who really isn't happy with Isobel marrying his father. He thinks she is beneath his family. He also criticizes Downton for letting the lower class marry into money & position. He is asked to leave the dinner table.
