48 HOURS on CBS. The episode called, "The Bugs Bunny Defense" won a "Webby" award 2016 on its' 20th anniversary. That episode had a woman shoot her husband in the head while he was sleeping. She claimed to morph into the cartoon character Elmer Fudd & said, "No More Buuwwets." It was a game she played with her husband & said that it was a joke. She fanned the gun like a western gunfighter & thought there were no bullets in the gun.
The wife was quirky & eccentric. In her first murder trial, the jury was "deadlocked." She left the state, got married & changed her look. She thought she was done with her last husband, but was brought to trial again. She was found "guilty" & is now in prison. She thought she got away with murder. It was the most craziest "48 Hours" episode in a long time. Her defense case was based on the Bugs Bunny episode with Elmer Fudd & Daffy Duck.
