“The mortician, the murder, the
movie.” A mortician named Bernie Tiede became friends with an
elderly lady named Marjorie Nugent. She came from a family of money
and that money was in the millions. Her family says she was a loving
person, but her neighbors called her the meanest woman in town.
Bernie spent 3.8 million of Marjorie's money. He also
shot her in the back four times which killed her. He then, put her
body inside a freezer.
Jack Black portrayed Bernie in a 2011
motion picture. Shirley Maclaine played Marjorie. Jack spent time
with Bernie as research for his acting role. He believes Bernie
didn't murder Marjorie as pre-meditation, but in an act of passion.
Jack also believed Bernie served his time and should be released from
prison. Marjorie's family thinks he should stay behind bars.
