'Dateline' Teen boy strangled to death in a small town

"Dateline" (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired in Albuquerque, NM at 8 p.m. (central time) on KOB 4. Last night's episode on Sept. 30, 2016 was called, "The Accused." In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.68 million TV viewers overall. It reached 1.0 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic (9-11 p.m.). "Hawaii Five-0" (CBS) grabbed 9.62 overall & 1.3 with adults. “Shark Tank" (ABC) nabbed 4.99 overall & 1.1 with adults.

Dateline” is an investigative program focusing on crime & murder in the United States. The reporter and narrator of this episode is Keith Morrison.

“The Accused.” Nick is a black male and his girlfriend Tandy is a white female. Their relationship was frowned upon in a small town called, Potsdam, New York. Tandy's son was named Garrett who was seen on camera riding his skateboard. He returned home before his mom. A neighbor heard a scream and the “click” of a lock on a door. Garrett was found un-responsive and died at the hospital. He was 12-years-old. Nick and Tandy had broken up and he became a suspect.
