“Dateline” is an investigative
program focusing on crime & murder in the United States. The
reporter and narrator of this episode is Keith Morrison.
“In the dead of night.” Wayne and
Sharmon Stock were brutally shot to death in their home back on
“Easter” night 2006. The police investigation unfolded and four
suspects emerged from two different states. Two male suspects were
extended family members and the other two were complete strangers.
Did they know each other? The police may have arrested two wrong men.
A CSI investigator was charged with blood evidence tampering. A
finger “ring” was dropped in the home during the murder. That led
to a “stolen” truck which led to a “note” of confession. The
twists and turns in this double-murder still has the Stock family
asking questions.
(If this was a repeat episode. I never saw it and I would've remembered it. Keith Morrison reported and when he is shocked, you are shocked too. This double-murder was completely astounding).
