'Jack Reacher: Never Go Back' doesn't have great dialogue of first film

JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK for PARAMOUNT PICTURES. According to "Box Office Mojo" that tracks box office receipts. "Reacher" has grabbed $39,769,924 at U.S., theaters as of Oct. 30, 2016. It has nabbed $54,200,000 at the Foreign box office. The worldwide total nabs $93,969,924 with a production budget of $60 million.

A friend took me to see this latest movie loosely based on a Lee Child novel. Tom Cruise returns as Jack Reacher who is a drifter who helps those in trouble. Two of Major Turner's combat veterans have been murdered and Turner is arrested. Jack enters the picture and is framed in the death of a military man before he can help Turner. The race is on as "The Hunter" chases Jack and Turner to kill them.

It doesn't have the great dialogue written for the first movie. It has Tom Cruise as an action star though. Jack has to deal with a daughter that he never knew he had. "The Hunter" tries to kill her too. It gets complicated and dangerous. I liked it, but not as much as I liked the first movie. (Author, Lee Child appears in this film too).
