'Dateline' episode 'The Landing' nabs a mild 2.87 TV ratings overall

Dateline” (NBC) was seen Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 8 p.m. (mountain time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Last night’s episode on Nov. 2, 2018 was called, “The Landing.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 2.87 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Blue Bloods” (CBS) grabbed 8.57 overall & 0.8 with adults. “20/20” (ABC) nabbed 2.54 overall & 0.4 with adults.

“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Keith Morrison. 

The Landing.” Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (2013). Heather Elvis had gone missing on a December night. Her car was found on a popular “landing” that overlooks a peaceful water pond. She had a new job and boyfriend. Her parents called Heather’s cell phone, but it went straight to an answer message. On the night she had disappeared. An unknown male was seen on a security camera near a gas station. He stepped to a pay phone that was traced to Heather’s own cell phone. She had talked to that male for at least four minutes. Who is he and did he meet her somewhere?
