'Cagney & Lacey' Emmy winner John Karlen dies at 86

CAGNEY & LACEY on CBS. The cop drama ran for seven TV seasons (1982-88). John Karlen portrayed Harvey Lacey in 124 episodes. He was the husband of New York City police detective Mary Beth Lacey (Tyne Daly). He was nominated three times for a TV Emmy as Harvey. He won best supporting actor in a regular TV series in 1986. Harvey Lacey became a favorite character of mine on the TV show.

I had not seen the TV series, "Dark Shadows" (1966-1971) for which TV fans are mourning Karlen's death. He portrayed Willie Loomis in 179 episodes. Rest in Peace.
