HAWAII FIVE-0 on CBS has Gabriel committing crimes around Kono & Chin

HAWAII FIVE-0 (Season 6, episode 3). I knew there was a reason Catherine came back into Steve's life. She breaks up with him again who wanted to ask her to marry him. He tells her he cannot wait for her anymore. Last year, she went to the middle east with her work in the military. Now, she came back for a reason & it was a decoy to watch Steve -- but why? 

Gabriel is still on the Island & is underground committing crimes & is hiding from Chin & Kono. Remember, he shot Adam who gave him money $$$ to be released from an International gang. Adam & Kono got married & 2 men were watching their home. Gabriel then is connected to a murder of a "John Doe" that Steve, Lou & Danno are investigating.

Tony Hillerman's THE SHAPE-SHIFTER Joe Leaphorn investigates a missing Navajo rug worth $$$

"The Shape-Shifter" by Tony Hillerman. Jim Chee & Bernadette just got back from their honeymoon. Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn is feeling his age in retirement. He comes back to investigate an old expensive Navajo rug that had supposedly burned up in a fire decades ago. That rug hung in the home of a rich man whose home was photographed for a recent "House" magazine. 

Everything was covered up in that fire where a fugitive criminal had died. Money was stolen, his accomplices went to prison, two innocent people were murdered & that Navajo rug disappeared. Someone tries to poison Leaphorn & the former accomplices get paroled from prison. Did the money burn up in that fire? Is Leaphorn too tired to investigate a cold case that goes back decades?

1984 Top 20 pop songs according to Billboard Magazine

Music videos were only 3 years old in 1984 which was launched by MTV. Michael Jackson perfected the medium as his videos rotated on MTV plus VH1 many times over. Remember, cable TV was just growing back then. VHS tapes kick started & home viewing out-grossed ($$) the box office receipts for current films. We just couldn't wait for movies to come to video tape. Rentals were huge business with "Blockbuster" which has now closed its' doors. VHS tapes of movies cost between $22 & $40.

The night-time soaps were huge on TV with "Dallas", "Knots Landing" & "Falcon Crest." "Dynasty" came in as the number #1 show in 1984. And there were so many soaps that failed throughout the 1980's. 

The "Purple Rain" film catapulted Prince into super stardom with his rock musical. I saw that film way too many times. I used to wear the Prince pants that were buttoned up on the side's. Plus, the boots. Thank God that I didn't have the hair, but I did copy the lead singer's haircut from "The Thompson Twins." Those photos will never see the light of day. I can't forget "Break Dancing." It was huge back then. Films were made & the only thing good was the dancing. The big hair both on men & women, plus the bright clothes were just awful. You can find them on YouTube. It was 1984.

I had 3 favorite songs from 1984 that I recorded to cassette tape from the radio. Hah! They were, "When Dove's Cry" (Prince), "Missing You" (John Waite) & "Hold Me Now" (The Thompson Twins).

27 women have accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault, rape & drugging. They all talk to DATELINE, but Cosby's lawyers say their allegations are lies. These women who have accused Cosby go back 5 decades. None of them have DNA evidence nor witnesses coming forward to support their allegations.

"American Crime: The People VS. OJ Simpson" comes to FX in February 2016

The FX series AMERICAN CRIME: THE PEOPLE VS. OJ SIMPSON has now released 2 teaser trailers. / The First is Audio of main characters speaking. / The Second has the Dog who might have witnessed the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson & Ronald Goldman. 

Cuba Gooding Jr., will portray OJ Simpson. Check out both teaser trailers below as we re-live it all over again.

PBS Christmas special has SHERLOCK going back in time to the victorian era.

Season 4 of SHERLOCK (PBS) doesn't begin until 2016. The 2015 Christmas special is set in the "Victorian Era" & it looks quite interesting. Benedict Cumberbatch portrays Sherlock for PBS.

Jonny Lee Miller portrays Sherlock for TV's ELEMENTARY (CBS).
Robert Downey Jr., portrayed Sherlock in the last two recent film versions.
Sir Ian McKellen recently played an elder Sherlock in a film who come out of retirement to solve a murder that baffled him years ago.

I like Jonny's performance because he struggles each day with his drug addiction on every TV episode of ELEMENTARY. Remember - Sherlock was an infamous drug addict.

THE FALLEN MAN by Tony Hillerman brings Joe Leaphorn out of retirement

THE FALLEN MAN. The skeleton of a dead man is found by climbers on the ledge of "Ship Rock" high above the Navajo desert. The man went missing 11 years earlier which Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn didn't solve. He comes out of retirement to find the truth & then someone is murdered. Jim Chee is shot during the investigation & his relationship with Janet Peete goes sour. Bernadette Manuelito is a new patrol officer who likes Jim & he discovers that he's attracted to her too. "Ship Rock" is sacred to the Navajo people, but non-Indians keep wanting to climb it which eventually turns deadly. A great, great read.

THE FALLEN MAN is the number #1 book on my list of Tony Hillerman's Navajo mysteries. He wrote 19 of them & it won't stay number #1 for long because I'm re-reading each book.

 

CBS ELEMENTARY Season 4 Preview has Sherlock's dad coming to New York

I got huge view numbers on my Examiner article with ELEMENTARY at last May's TV season finale. Did Sherlock fall off the wagon & back into using drugs?

Season 4 begins November 4, 2015 on CBS & it looks like Sherlock may have survived his relapse. It also looks like he'll be going to court & then prison. His father comes to New York & there will be conflict. I'm a big fan of this show & all things SHERLOCK HOLMES.

PROJECT RUNWAY designers coming to show their fashion at SANTA FE FASHION WEEK 2015

The Santa Fe Fashion Week runs October 12-17, 2017 at Santa Fe, NM. Richard Hallmarq appeared on Season 11 with Pueblo designer Patricia Michaels. He will showcase his designs at this years fashion show.

Actor joked about stealing Indian Pueblo artifacts during filming of MAZE RUNNER:THE SCORCH TRIALS

Dylan O'Brien joked on "Live with Kelly & Michael" about him & other cast members stealing Indian Pueblo artifacts during the filming of "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" near Albuquerque in 2014. He did not get a laugh from that joke because a petition has been sent out asking cast members to return the stolen artifacts.

Well, it was bound to happen since Hollywood cannot find Original ideas. They're remaking past films & TV productions that were Hits. "Rush Hour", "Minority Report", "Taken","The Transporter" & "MacGyver." Now, "Lethal Weapon" has been green-lighted for a FOX TV pilot. You don't have to wait for my TV Recap. Watch the 2-hour episode of THE AGENT'S WIFE over at NBC. I give you fair warning. It will make you angry. A male FBI Agent shoots his wife 4 times because he said she attacked him with a knife. The evidence showed him committing manslaughter. A jury & a judge didn't see it that way & after two long years. The husband went free.

Dennis Murphy reported & showed us everything that happened in 2 long hours. The husband was a "piece of work" who kept hiding behind God & fake tears. I mean, he had no tears..., His sister stood behind him & she got on my last nerve. The guy is free, but it isn't over because God's justice is coming. This is the first time I got angry at the system. Everyone at DATELINE FACEBOOK cannot believe the "not guilty verdict."

Western film BONE TOMAHAWK opens in US theaters on October 23, 2015

Everybody knows that I love western films. Kurt Russell is starring in a new western called BONE TOMAHAWK. He is a sheriff who helps search for a woman kidnapped by cannibals. A cannibal looks Native American right at the end of this exclusive trailer only at Entertainment Weekly. It looks pretty violent, but that's what westerns are all about.

HAWAII FIVE-0 on CBS has a bomb expert who wants fame in killing people

HAWAII FIVE-0 / Season 6 / Episode 2 / Adam went home from the hospital after getting shot by a corrupt Gabriel. Kono discovers that her home was being watched. Adam had given Gabriel money to buy him out of an international gang. If anyone helped Gabriel, they would be killed by the gang. Kono is justifiably paranoid because she finds a suspicious car sitting in front of her home.
