ABQ SHORT FILM SEEKING CAST/CREW

SYNOPSIS: Unsafe at his school and ignored in his home, a lonely and
desperate teenage boy undergoes a frightening transformation in the name
of revenge.
"Bully" is a short film with some of the best and brightest in the
New Mexico indie film scene already attached, including award-winning
director Sheridan O' Donnell and many other extremely talented
individuals
All positions on this film are
VOLUNTEER-BASED, but with MEALS PROVIDED, FOOD & BEVERAGE PROVIDED,
MILEAGE NEGOTIABLE, and ACCOMMODATIONS NEGOTIABLE. For anyone looking to
gain experience working with a talented crew and add credits to your
resume, this is the project for you. We encourage anyone interested in
being a part of this project to contact us, including students and those
with limited experience.
Bully shoots for seven days in early December.

AVAILABLE ROLES:
Hyde Howell – 15 to 19 years old – Male – Average to Skinny Build
- Hyde is fairly average for all intents and purposes. He’s more on
the quiet side, but is passive aggressive as well, showing flashes of
uncontrolled anger from time to time. He likes to draw and sketch
(usually dark figures and monsters) and is a bit of a loner, having only
one friend, Mitchell.
Andrew – 15 to 19 years Old – Male – Average Build
- Hyde’s main bully. He’s a lot like Hyde and Mitchell, an outcast
himself. Maybe in another world they could’ve been friends, but for no
apparent reason, he picks on Hyde. Vince follows his orders devoutly.
Vince – 15 to 19 years old – Male
- Another of Hyde’s bullies. Andrew’s muscle. Quieter than Andrew, but probably more lethal too.
Amanda – 15 to 19 years old – Female – Average to Skinny Build
- A classmate of Hyde’s. She has a bit of a crush on Hyde, and Hyde
has a crush on her as well. She’s definitely one of the “pretty girls”
of the school, but isn’t snobby or extremely popular either.
Anna Howell – 35 to 45 years old – Female
- Hyde’s mother. A nurse. Her on call job often keeps her very busy,
so much so that she has very little time to care for Hyde. She met her
husband very young, high school sweethearts. Their marriage is quiet and
stale. She makes more money than her husband. A good mom when she has
the time to be one.
John Howell – 35 to 45 years old – Male – Average to Fit Build
- Hyde’s father. A machinist. John is a soft spoken and quiet man.
Not very affectionate of a father, but not abusive or mean either. His
job involves a lot of physical labor, and the years of it have added up
on his tired body. Scruff but not mangy. Drinks, but isn’t a drunk. No
college degree. Likes football. Handsome.
