Keith Morrison traveled to the my hometown of Pendleton, Oregon to report on one murder & another beating that might have been connected. My Indian Reservation is five miles west of the city. It involved two women who attended the same church. It also involved a man who was a child of Christian missionaries in Thailand. He stabbed one woman 12 times to death & a year later brutally beat another woman to celebrate the anniversary of his first kill. He actually hid inside the Pendleton convention center for a year and no one knew.
I wish a crime show covered the murder of Native Americans among my own tribe near Pendleton. Several have now become cold cases. But, at least "Dateline" came to town. It almost had a full on serial killer if it wasn't for DNA evidence. RP
