"Point Break" climbs to $34 million in China before U.S. bow

The 1991 remake of "Point Break" has cost a mere $105 million. Producers decided to open the film in China first & it has grossed $34 million by word-of-mouth. The action film will open on Christmas Day 2015 in the U.S.

Film audiences who are loyal to the 1991 Patrick Swayze & Keanu Reeves movie. Are still not impressed. The 2nd 2015 film trailer has already been released & it looks like it sticks to the main plot, but notched up the CGI effects. (I'll watch it to see what happens - but I must say - you cannot beat 'The Ex-Presidents' bank robbers).
