Kirk Douglas just turned 99-years-old & he is probably one of the last remaining movie stars from the 1940's & 50's. (Maureen O'Hara just died who was also in her 90's). Douglas was one of the first film star's to create his own production company when the contract studio system began to fall apart. Happy Birthday Mr. Douglas.

I absolutely love westerns & I've watched this particular one a lot. It looks great on DVD & was directed by Raoul Walsh.
