20th Century Fox used a $200 million budget for "INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE" & brought the production to the Albuquerque Studios. The major Hollywood studio took advantage of the New Mexico tax incentives as well. Albuquerque is now one of the most important location studios in the southwest.
