Tribal Chief Clarence Burke to be bronzed at Pendleton, Oregon

News from Pendleton, Oregon. We all called him grandpa Clarence & still do even after he passed away back in 1987. Before the Internet, he was the most photographed American Indian in the Pacific Northwest. Chief Clarence Burke was voted by Pendleton residents to receive a Bronze statue in the downtown area. He will stand across from rodeo legend Jackson Sundown. (I admire him today 2015 as I did back then 1987).
