'Dateline' 2001 Florida cold case gets a new look

“Dateline” (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It was seen at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Last night’s episode on July 7, 2017 was called, “The Knock at the Door.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 5.11 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.9 million TV viewers with the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “20/20” (ABC) grabbed 3.18 overall & reached 0.6 with adults. “Blue Bloods” (ABC) nabbed 5.45 overall & 0.6 with adults (repeat).

“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Keith Morrison.

The Knock at the Door.” It was October 2001 in the state of Florida. Veronica came home to find the door of her house latched open. Her sister Tara wasn’t there, but her car and purse were left behind. Jewelry and money was gone. Muddy foot prints were found in the house. There was also earrings embedded into the carpet. Her parents discovered tire tracks in the front yard. There was a search until 9 months later when Tara’s bones were found in a tree wooded area. Her autopsy revealed that she died from blunt force trauma. Her death went cold for eight years…,
