'48 Hours' Man disappears in the dark waters of the 'Hudson River'

48 HOURS (CBS) was seen Saturday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired at 8 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. Last night’s episode on July 29, 2017 was called, “Death on the Hudson.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 1.96 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.3 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “In an Instant” (ABC) grabbed 1.85 overall & 0.3 with adults. “Love Connection” (FOX) nabbed 0.73 overall & 0.2 with adults. 

“Death on the Hudson.” Cornwall, New York. A storm hit the Hudson river when Vincent Viafore was paddling back to shore. Angelika Graswald called 911 Emergency saying that she couldn’t get back to her boyfriend because of the 5 foot waves. He fell off his kayak and disappeared. Police questioned Angelika for hours and she confessed to pulling out the drain plug in Vincent’s kayak before hitting the river. She was charged with his murder.

She told police that she wanted to be free of Vincent. His friends say that she would turn mean when she drank alcohol. She even slapped him in their presence. He also had a life insurance policy worth $250,000. Vincent’s body was found one month after he disappeared.
