'Endeavour' Patients die in hospital bed number '10' which might be cursed

ENDEAVOUR on PBS Masterpiece. (S4E3). The third episode is called, "Lazaretto." The final TV ratings garnered 6.77 million TV viewers overall. This is the prequel to the popular “Inspector Morse” TV series. 

"Lazaretto." A recovering patient dies in a bed numbered “10” at a hospital. Constable Morse discovers that, that bed is supposedly cursed after many who die in it. A male police informant is admitted into that hospital. He is going to testify against a corrupt gang, but is assigned to sleep in bed number #10. 

A sick man leaves that hospital. He is the father of a woman Morse was once engaged to marry. He talks to the wife and mother who is vindictive, petty and angry at Morse. She always hated him for dating her daughter. Morse attends the funeral of the dad who soon dies. The wife continues to bring him down with ugly words.

Inspector “Thursday” and his wife are still dealing with the absence of their daughter Joan. She left abruptly after the bank robbery that almost got her killed. Morse received a phone call, but the person hung up on him. He thought it was Joan.
