'Dateline' Hollywood executive vanishes in the San Fernando Valley

“Dateline” (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It was seen at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Friday night’s episode on Sept. 15, 2017 was called, “Dark Valley.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.66 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.9 million TV viewers with the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “20/20” (ABC) grabbed 3.39 overall & reached 0.6 with adults. “11th annual ACM honors” (CBS) nabbed 4.66 overall & 0.7 with adults.

“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Keith Morrison.

 “Dark Valley.” The San Fernando Valley in California 2012. Gavin Smith had a wife and three sons. He was a charismatic actor who turned into a Hollywood executive. He never showed up one day to pick up his son at school. His co-workers claimed that Gavin never appeared at his job either. Gavin sightings occurred for weeks after he vanished. Police detectives then found his car 9 months later. A bloody hand print was seen inside that car. What happened to Gavin?
