Joe Exotic from 'Tiger King' granted new sentencing by Appeals Court

TIGER KING from NET-FLIX. The reality-based series was a smash hit in 2020 while people were stuck in their homes during COVD-19. The online viewership climbed into double-digit-ratings and made a reality-star out of Joe Exotic.

What came out of it was the actual arrest of "Joe" (Joseph Maldonado-Passage). He had hired hit-men to kill his rival Carole Baskin. They both owned tiger sanctuaries in the U.S.

Joe was found guilty on 2-counts of hiring those hit-men and sentenced to 22 years in prison.... An appeals court has decided to charge his 2-counts separately. Instead of grouping his sentence into 1 count.

Amazon Prime has scrapped their planned series on "Joe Exotic." Nicolas Cage was set to star as Joe.

NBC-U is already in production with their take on "Tiger King." John Cameron Mitchell will portray "Joe." Kate McKinnon will play Carole Baskin.
