I am still catching up on the years I missed with AGT.
Season 18 (2023). Comedian Barry Brewer Jr. He "wowed" the AGT judges with his audition. They all voted "yes" and sent Barry to the next round. During the judge deliberations. He was moved to the "Semi-Finals."
His semi-final stand up performance was very funny. All the judges liked him except Simon. He enjoyed Barry's audition more because he used a piano in his performance. I totally agree. He is a musician who used that piano to make his comedy funnier.
Unfortunately - Barry didn't have enough votes to get to the "Finals."
