'48 Hours' Kala found chained up in container by possible serial killer

"48 Hours" (CBS) can be seen each Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) in Albuquerque, NM on KRQE 13. Last night's episode on Nov. 12, 2016 was called, "Buried Truth." In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 5.09 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.8 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Saturday night college football" (ABC) grabbed 5.74 overall & 1.7 with adults (8-11 p.m.). “SNL vintage" (NBC) nabbed 3.23 overall & 0.8 with adults.

"48 Hours" is an investigative program that covers crime & murder in the United States.

“Buried Truth.” The South Carolina couple, Charles and Kala went missing. They found Kala alive on Nov. 3, 2016. She was chained up and bound inside a metal steel container. She claimed that Todd showed her dirt graves. He would put her in one of those graves if she tried to escape. Todd Kohlhepp had his own real estate agency. Kala admitted seeing him shoot Charles to death right in front her. Todd's mother said her son is not a monster, but only a hurt and angry person. He confessed to police that he killed and buried three people on his property. Is he a serial killer?

“Hana Komo Pae.” Lou's son Will is getting ready for his school winter formal. Danno is driving his daughter Grace to the same formal and he wants to see her boyfriend. If she has one. Steve is getting ready for poker night at his house. Chin Ho had to give up Sarah to her uncle and aunt in Mexico. Kono finds out that he wants Sarah to spy on the aunt and uncle.

Danno fills in for Rachel to chaperone Grace at the winter formal. He finds out that Will is the boyfriend. As the winter formal goes into full gear. The school is taken over by a group of men with guns.

'Dateline' 1 murder, 3 trials, 1 conviction & possible release of innocent man

"Hawaii Five-0" (CBS) grabbed 9.81 overall & 1.4 with adults. “Shark Tank” (ABC) nabbed 5.4 overall & 1.2 with adults.

“Dateline” is an investigative program focusing on crime & murder in the United States. The reporter and narrator of this episode is Keith Morrison.

“The man who knew too much.” Michelle O’Keefe and a friend went to a “Kid Rock” concert to be in one of his music videos. Michelle was later found shot to death inside her car at a “park and ride” lot. That was the year 2000. Raymond Jennings was a security guard who had been the only witness to the crime. Investigators made him a suspect who went on trial three times. The first two trials were hung-juries. The third jury found him guilty of 2^nd degree murder. Raymond always maintained his innocence who received 40 years-to-life in prison.

Clinton Ehrlich watched the original “Dateline” episode about Michelle called, “The girl with the blue mustang.” He felt Raymond might be innocent and asked his dad, a civil attorney, to look into Raymond's case.

An all new '48 Hours' Saturday Nov. 12, 2016

48 HOURS on CBS. The next episode is "ripped from newspaper headlines" and it is called, "Buried Truth." It will air this Saturday at 10/9 p.m. 

CBS says, "When police found Kala Brown chained like a dog inside a shipping container in Woodruff, S.C., they thought they were on the path to solve a missing persons case. What they learned soon after, however, was that they would just be getting started on the trail of a suspected serial killer. '48 Hours' goes inside the missing persons investigation and the stunning revelations her alleged captor, Todd Kohlhepp, 45, a real estate broker, made to police. Correspondents David Begnaud and Peter Van Sant report."

DAY 21 of SAG-AFTRA strike against Video Game Producers

The "Screen Actors Guild" (SAG) and the "American Federation of Television and Radio Artists" (AFTRA) has now entered day 21 of its' strike against video game producers. It is now Thursday Nov. 10, 2016 and the SAG-AFTRA union started the picket lines back on Oct. 21. This could go on for months if producers do not bend toward SAG-AFTRA's demands for better pay.

• Australia : The Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA)
• New Zealand: Equity
• Canada: Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA)
• United Kingdom: The British Equity

All union members have been warned not to accept any work within the video game industry. That is until an agreement has been made. The video industry is a $$ Billion dollar industry and SAG-AFTRA only wants residual pay just like movies and TV. Video Game producers have rejected that idea.

An all new 'Elementary' Sunday Nov. 13, 2016

'Arrival' opens in US theaters Friday Nov. 11, 2016

ARRIVAL from PARAMOUNT PICTURES. The new alien visitors movie will open this Friday Nov. 11 on 2,200 screens. The production budget climbed to $47 million. It stars Amy Adams, Forest Whitaker and Jeremy Renner.

Fandango says, "Linguistics professor Louise Banks (Amy Adams) leads an elite team of investigators when humongous spaceships touch down in 12 locations around the world. As nations teeter on the verge of global war, Banks and her crew must race against time to find a way to communicate with the extraterrestrial visitors. The Saturday Night Mystery on 'Dateline' Nov. 12, 2016

DATELINE on NBC. The next Saturday Night Mystery episode is called, "The Officer's Wife" that will air at 8/7 p.m. This is a repeat episode which was reported from Albuquerque, NM. The murder trial transfixed this city surrounded by the Albuquerque Police Department (APD). It also made a lot of women angry. I mean angry...,

NBC says, "Police officer Levi Chavez and his wife Tera live in suburban Albuquerque, New Mexico. After mysterious incidents at their house, Levi comes home to find a horrific scene in their bedroom. Josh Mankiewicz reports."

An all new 'Dateline' Friday Nov. 11, 2016

DATELINE on NBC. The next 2-hour episode is called, "The man who knew too much" that will air this Friday at 9/8 p.m. This is a re-opening of a homicide investigation which looks intriguing. NBC says, "A son enlists the help of his attorney father after he watches a "Dateline NBC" report on the murder of college student Michelle O'Keefe. Halle Berry's 'Kidnap' gets new release date for 2017

KIDNAP for RELATIVITY MEDIA. The Halle Berry starrer is crawling out of the near bankruptcy of its' distributor "Relativity." It was to be released this December 2, 2016, but has been moved to March 10, 2017. 

"Deadlind Hollywood" is reporting that the movie is being shopped around to other distributors as the title "Kidnap." It may change, but for now the only film trailer is exciting Halle Berry fans. (Watch Reaction trailer mash-up below. Plus, full trailer below it). 

'Elementary' Sherlock investigates a person killing sexual predators

“Elementary” (CBS) can be seen each Sunday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) in Albuquerque, NM on KRQE 13. Last night's episode on Nov. 6, 2016 was called, “To catch a predator, predator.” In the overnight TV ratings. Sunday night NFL football ran over an hour and “Elementary” was pushed to 11/10 p.m. The TV ratings won't be announced until final numbers on Tuesday Nov. 8, 2016.

A different male falls through the window with bullets in his back. The dead man's name is Damien. He was a sexual predator who chases 15-year-old teen girls. Sherlock believes he was targeted by a revenge killer who poses as a “catfish” on the “true romantics” website. He poses as an 18-year-old to lure these older men and then kill them.

'Man From Reno' Is an excellent mystery wrapped up in murder

MAN FROM RENO is an INDIE FILM. A Japanese female crime writer flees to San Francisco to hide from publicity. She meets a handsome and mysterious man in her hotel. She sleeps with him out of sheer loneliness. She knows nothing about him. He disappears and leaves a suitcase behind in her room. What she doesn't know is that a man fitting his description was murdered. His body was found floating in a lake. A sheriff believes that he hit this man in his "county" just outside San Francisco. It was at night and in the fog. That injured male got up and ran away. And so, the mystery begins...,

I will not give anything away. I rented this from the Internet and was skeptical at first. I never heard of it until I found the trailer on YouTube. I love murder mysteries and this one kept me guessing to the very end. The film used the wide-open-spaces of San Francisco where the characters seemed engulfed into something bigger than themselves. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Steve was on a date with Lynn when Catherine showed up. He decides to try and help his mom who disappeared from his life three years ago. Catherine went back to the middle east and it was discovered that she was recruited into central intelligence. Lou, Chin-Ho and Kono track Steve's phone to Morocco.

“The Good Husband.” Tom and Linda Kolman had been married for ten years. She had an affair with his best friend Gilberto Nunez. Tom found out about that affair by a text message from Gilberto who portrayed someone else. Linda decided to stay with her husband and Gilberto wanted to kill himself. Tom was then found dead inside his car. Police detectives discovered security camera footage of a white SUV parking next to Tom's car. It was in the early morning “darkness.” Gilberto owned the same looking make and model SUV. Tom was slumped over in his driver seat. He had a sleep Apnea condition, but was in good health. What would an autopsy reveal? Murder?

An all new 'Elementary' Sunday Nov. 6, 2016

ELEMENTARY on CBS. The new episode is called, "To catch a predator, predator" that will air this Sunday at 10/9 p.m. The promo says, "Holmes and Watson have plenty of suspects when they investigate the murder of a man who led a secret life as a vigilante, “catfishing” sexual predators on dating sites and publicly shaming them. Also, when Shinwell’s criminal record prevents him from finding a full-time job, Holmes disagrees with Watson’s plan to help him."

'Longmire' renewed for 6th & Final TV season at 'Netflix'

LONGMIRE on NET-FLIX. At the end of season 5. Henry Standing Bear was left to die in the hot sun by the corrupt native, "Malachi." The town mayor who is a tiny weasel, had asked the governor to suspend Walt Longmire as sheriff. It's all over the wrongful death-suit aimed at Walt who killed Barlow Connally in self-defense. Barlow shot dead his own son Branch who discovered Barlow had ordered a contract hit on Walt's wife. Vic is pregnant, but doesn't know which of two men is the father. Cady Longmire opens a legal office on the reservation, but doesn't know how deep she is in with Jacob Night-Horse. He gave her over $700,000 that might be stolen money. Thank God there is a Season 6. We need some answers.

'Bosch' Season 3 sneak preview pops up at 'Amazon'

BOSCH on AMAZON PRIME VIDEO. Season 3 doesn't begin until 2017 as the production resumes in 2016. Amazon has released a sneak peak of the next TV season. You can watch Season 1 & 2 streaming online at "Amazon Prime Video." I thought Season 2 was spectacular with excellent writing.

'The Accountant' is crackling, suspenseful thriller with suprising twists

THE ACCOUNTANT for WARNER BROS. According to "Box Office Mojo" that tracks box office receipts. "Accountant" has grabbed $63,350,482 as of Tuesday Nov. 1, 2016. It has reached $21,300,000 at the Foreign Box Office. The world-wide-total has climbed to $84,650,48. The production budget was $44 million.

Ben Affleck portrays Christian Wolff who was diagnosed as an autistic child. It turns out that he has a special gift with math and numbers. He's a genius. Him and his brother are taught by their dad to fight back because Christian is different. He is later investigated as an adult by a U.S., Treasury department boss. He doesn't know it and continues on being an accountant. He lands a job to look at the numbers within a robotics company worth millions of dollars. That is where he discovers that a man in that company was stealing money. Owners and employees begin to get killed off and Christian has to protect himself. He is an excellent gun sniper. 

I will not give anything away because it obviously goes deeper than just Christian being an accountant. There is a twist at the end of this film that floored me. When there is a twist I don't see coming. I absolutely love it. Some critics say, that at a certain point, the film slows down. Not for me. It concentrated on the main character of Christian and his complete story. Ben Affleck gives a fine performance and I was impressed with the action sequences which was a part of his character. It wasn't just action fighting.

Louis C.K. is for Hillary Clinton on 'Conan' & it's hilarious

CONAN on TBS. Comedian, actor and writer Louis C.K., talks with Conan O'Brien about the 2016 Presidential Election. He does comedy and whenever he speaks with Conan it is funny. Sometimes, Conan laughs so hard. He supports Hillary Clinton and adds his own comic flavor by cussing and swearing. The Election is less than a week away and the atmosphere is getting so crazy. (The network "bleeps" the swear words).

HAWAII FIVE-0 on CBS. The 150th episode is called, "Ka Makuahine A Me Ke Keikikane" that will air this Friday at 9/8 p.m. The promo says, "Five-0 must free McGarrett’s mother, Doris (Christine Lahti), when Catherine (Michelle Borth) informs them that she was captured and is about to be executed after attempting to free Wo Fat’s imprisoned father. Also, Chin loses his appeal to have Sara’s adoption delayed, and she must move to Mexico." 

'Dateline' Saturday Night Mystery Nov. 5, 2016

DATELINE on NBC. The Saturday Night Mystery returned last week. This Saturday's episode is a repeat, but it is still intriguing. It's called, "The Client" and it will air at 9/8 p.m. NBC says, "Andrea Canning reports on a realtor from Little Rock, Arkansas who goes missing after showing a house. The search leads detectives on a gripping chase. Will she be found before it's too late?."
