'Dateline' 1 murder, 3 trials, 1 conviction & possible release of innocent man

"Dateline" (NBC) can be seen each Saturday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired in Albuquerque, NM at 8 p.m. (central time) on KOB 4. Last night's episode on Nov. 11, 2016 was called, "The man who knew too much." In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.71 million TV viewers overall. It reached 1.0 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic (9-11 p.m.). "Hawaii Five-0" (CBS) grabbed 9.81 overall & 1.4 with adults. “Shark Tank” (ABC) nabbed 5.4 overall & 1.2 with adults.

“Dateline” is an investigative program focusing on crime & murder in the United States. The reporter and narrator of this episode is Keith Morrison.

The man who knew too much.” Michelle O’Keefe and a friend went to a “Kid Rock” concert to be in one of his music videos. Michelle was later found shot to death inside her car at a “park and ride” lot. That was the year 2000. Raymond Jennings was a security guard who had been the only witness to the crime. Investigators made him a suspect who went on trial three times. The first two trials were hung-juries. The third jury found him guilty of 2nd degree murder. Raymond always maintained his innocence who received 40 years-to-life in prison.

Clinton Ehrlich watched the original “Dateline” episode about Michelle called, “The girl with the blue mustang.” He felt Raymond might be innocent and asked his dad, a civil attorney, to look into Raymond's case.
