An all new '48 Hours' Saturday May 13, 2017

48 HOURS on CBS. The second segment of 2 back-to-back episodes is called, "Murder in the Mansion" that will air this Saturday at 10/9 p.m. This is a brand new episode.

'Maigret' returns to find a diamond smuggler killed inside a stranger's car

MAIGRET on ITV. Rowan Atkinson returns as Jules Maigret in the 3^rd installment called,“Night at the Crossroads.” The final TV ratings has the episode garnering 5.4 million TV viewers overall. It aired last April 16, 2017. It is based on the books written by Georges Simenon set in the country of France during the 1950's. The next “Maigret” mystery movie has yet to be announced.

A man sets out to make a final trade of his diamonds. Him and his wife decide that this would be their last illegal trade. They already planned their move to the United States. He is shot dead and his body is placed in a car inside a garage. That garage is on the home property of another man and his sister. He has a disfigured face and she is always locked up in her bedroom.

Maigret is called by inspector “Grandjean” about the murder. Both men used to work together years ago. Grandjean asks for some help just as the brother and sister make a run for the border. Maigret already has questions as he delicately looks at the murder case. He asks the right questions too. Why was the murdered victim placed in the driver's seat? Could the brother be set up for murder? Why does the sister not act like a sister?

An all new 'Elementary' Sunday May 14, 2017

ELEMENTARY on CBS. The next episode is called, "Scrambled" that will air this Sunday at 10/9 p.m. The Season Finale episode will come May 21, 2017. The network still has not renewed this show for a 6th TV season.

The promo trailer below is a "Spoiler" if you haven't watched the last episode. Shinwell was found dead by Watson and he might have been murdered. He was getting close to bringing down his old gang, "SBK" because he was an undercover informant. He also wrote a confession claiming that he killed his best friend a few years back. Sherlock and Watson already knew this through their own investigations. (TV fans are split on the death of Shinwell. Some thought he was not a good character story line. Others liked him, including me. Now he's been killed off the TV series.).

CBS says about the next episode, " Holmes and Watson investigate a murder that puts them in the cross-hairs of one of New York City’s deadliest gangs. Also, Holmes’ behavior becomes increasingly erratic when he secretly interacts with a mysterious woman."

'Hawaii Five-0' Season Finale Friday May 12, 2017

HAWAII FIVE-0 on CBS. The end of the TV season comes this Friday. It was a good season even though we all had to say goodbye to Dr. Max in a very emotional episode. We will miss you Max..., "Five-0" has already been renewed for Season 8. 

The Season Finale episode is called, "Ua Mau Ke Ea O Ka Aina I Ka Pono" that will air this Friday at 9/8 p.m.

CBS says, "McGarrett risks his life when Five-0 attempts their most dangerous rescue yet of young girls trapped in the sex trafficking ring they have been tracking this year. Also, Kono, deeply affected by the case, makes a life-changing decision."

'Dateline' Princess Diana episode will not stream online

DATELINE on NBC. "The life and death of Princess Diana" will only stream "On Demand" which ends today, Monday May 8, 2017. The 2-hour investigation by Andrea Canning will not air online at the official NBC website.

The ABC special, "The last 100 days of Princess Diana" aired last night on Sunday May 7, 2017. In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 6.43 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.9 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. You have to Sign-Up with ABC to watch the 2-hour special online.

'48 Hours: NCIS' returns Friday May 12, 2017

48 HOURS: NCIS on CBS. The next episode has had its' short previews after an 'NCIS: New Orleans" segment. There is no title or complete TV promo yet, but it will return this Friday at 10/9 p.m.

'48 Hours' Housekeeper & boy stabbed to death on 'Mother's Day'

"48 Hours" (CBS) was seen Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) in Albuquerque, NM on KRQE 13. Last night's episode on May 6, 2017 was called, “Resident Evil." In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.28 million TV viewers overall. “Resident Evil.” Omaha, Nebraska on March 13, 2008 which was “Mother's Day.” Tommy Hunter was lying face down in a pool of blood and dead. Shirley Sherman was also lying dead in the home. Dr. Bill Hunter found his son murdered. His wife, Dr. Clara Hunter, was out of town. Both Tommy and Shirley were stabbed to death and knives were left inside their bodies...,

It was “Mother's Day” 2013. Dr. Roger Brumback and his wife Mary were getting ready to move out of their house. He was shot with a gun and stabbed to death. She was also stabbed and knives were left inside the home. It mirrored the other sharp knives left inside the Hunter home five years before. Were these murders connected to one killer?

“He ke'u na ka 'alae a Hina.” Steve befriended a prison-of-war back in 2007. He visits that prisoner at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 2017. The prisoner tells Steve that there is a terrorist attack on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Steve returns to investigate the threat. Meanwhile, Chin Ho is offered a job at San Francisco to run a task force. He says “no” because Hawaii is his home.

The prisoner who Steve visited was a former Al Qaeda leader. Steve believes this terrorist threat, but the “Five-0” team doesn't. They find out though that a local travel agency is a front for funneling money. They also find that a man connected to the agency has a video of an attack on Oahu...,

'Dateline' Princess Diana's life and death chronicled 20 years later

Last night's 2-hour episode on May 5, 2017 was called, “The life and death of Princess Diana.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.78 million TV viewers overall. “Dateline” is an investigative program focusing on crime & murder in the United States. The reporter and narrator is Andrea Canning.

“The life and death of Princess Diana.” It was August 1997 and Diana was in Paris, France with her male companion Dodi Al-Fayed. They left a hotel with their car driver and body guard who were followed by the paparazzi on motorcycles. They all entered a tunnel and a horrific crash killed the driver, princess Diana and Fayed. The body guard ended up in severe critical condition. This happened 20 years ago.

Princess Diana's life and death is still talked about in 2017. There are no interviews with the British royal family (Except Prince William and Harry who speak about their mom after death). Diana's close friends talk and speculate about her life. It began from the day she was engaged to Charles until her untimely death. She became a modern 1980's-90's superstar around the world. Underneath the so-called, “fairy-tale” marriage and family was real human lives...,

'Creepy' comes to 'The Guild' cinema at Albuquerque from May 5-8, 2017

I saw this on Blu-Ray and let me tell you. Halfway into the film. I was freaking out big time. It is that good and absolutely "Creepy." It was one Helluva murder mystery.

'Bosch' Harry continues to pursue his mother's killer

BOSCH on AMAZON. (S03E10). Interim chief Irving decides to take the job as chief of police at Los Angeles. He also found a new relationship with a lovely Korean woman. He finally takes off his wedding ring and finalizes his divorce. The “Korea Town” killer is still on the loose who just happens to ride his bike past Harry Bosch..., 

“Dobbs” was the leader of a military group. “Moreno” meets him on his boat. Dobb's shoots Moreno in the head and dumps his body deep in the ocean. Harry follows Dobb's to a secluded island where Woodrow left a large suitcase of money. Jerry shot and killed Woodrow after he pulled a gun. Dobb's tries to get off the island, but Harry is waiting for him.

William Meadows was murdered by Moreno that brought on an investigation with Bosch and Jerry. William was a part of the military group who returned to Afghanistan as contractors. They stole money from a war lord. It was all about greed when they came back to the U.S.

John Caffrey kept a book on the murder of Bosch's mother. John died in a retirement home fire. It was arson and he was murdered. Harry found the wrong man who killed his mom. The LAPD covered it up and Harry asks chief Irving to help him find the truth.

Note: This is the end of season 3 and it was pretty good. I didn't write on everything in each episode. You have to watch it. “Bosch” has already been renewed for a 4^th TV season. The story continues in 2018...,

'48 Hours: NCIS' will not air Tuesday May 2, 2017

48 HOURS-NCIS on CBS. The first episode aired last week to some solid TV ratings. The 6-part TV series will not run tonight. The 2016-17 TV season is ending and regular TV shows are running down. 

Tuesday night's all new episodes begin with "NCIS" at 8/7 p.m. / "Bull" at 9/8 p.m. / "NCIS: New Orleans" will end prime-time at 10/9 p.m.

'Bosch' Jerry is shot by a sniper as the murder of Ed Gunn closes

BOSCH on AMAZON. (S03E09). Jerry Edgar had just found out that a school teacher was helping Harry Bosch plant video cameras. Harry watched Ed Gunn's apartment. Jesse is seen breaking in on one particular night. A Latina female is helping Ed into his home on a different night. Jesse was charged with murdering Ed. The female was part of a plan to frame Harry for Ed's murder.

Jerry had just shot and killed Woody. He was part of a military group stealing money. Harry was right in thinking that one of Woody's military buddies might retaliate. His name is “Moreno” who is a sniper. He shot Jerry while he was heading out of his home to see that school teacher. No one has seen Moreno who walks free at Santa Monica beach. His military boss is angry that Moreno had retaliated.

It turns out that Rudy was the other man breaking into Ed Gunn's apartment. Harry recorded him on video whose shadow was only visible. Jesse is his brother and Rudy makes a deal to keep Jesse out of prison. The whole frame up of Harry unravels and it leads back to a Hollywood director who was going on trial for murder. Harry was the main witness against him.

'Elementary' Detective Bell's girlfriend is attacked & brutally beaten

“Elementary” (CBS) can be seen each Sunday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) in Albuquerque, NM on KRQE 13. Last night's episode on April 30, 2017 was called, “Fly into a Rage, Make a Bad Landing.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.83 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Shades of Blue” (NBC) grabbed 4.56 overall & 0.8 with adults. “American Crime” (ABC) nabbed 1.96 overall & 0.4 with adults.

“Fly into a Rage, Make a Bad Landing.” Roy was married to Chantal who is now dating detective Bell. Roy had been harassing Chantal and any guy who gets involved with her. She had been badly beaten in her apartment and is in the hospital. Bell believes that it was Roy who attacked her. Sherlock, Watson and Captain Gregson investigate. Roy is an abusive man and Sherlock discovered that he might've urinated on Chantal's bed after the beating. He denies this claim.

Roy says he was working when Chantal was attacked. He claims he was undercover for a corporation. So, there would be no security camera footage. He later tries to see Chantal at the hospital and gets into a fight with detective Bell. Roy then disappears and his DNA matches the urine from the crime scene. Captain Gregson finds him shot dead in a supposed suicide. Did he attack Chantal?
