ELEMENTARY on CBS. The next episode is called, "Scrambled" that will air this Sunday at 10/9 p.m. The Season Finale episode will come May 21, 2017. The network still has not renewed this show for a 6th TV season.
The promo trailer below is a "Spoiler" if you haven't watched the last episode. Shinwell was found dead by Watson and he might have been murdered. He was getting close to bringing down his old gang, "SBK" because he was an undercover informant. He also wrote a confession claiming that he killed his best friend a few years back. Sherlock and Watson already knew this through their own investigations. (TV fans are split on the death of Shinwell. Some thought he was not a good character story line. Others liked him, including me. Now he's been killed off the TV series.).
CBS says about the next episode, " Holmes and
Watson investigate a murder that puts them in the cross-hairs of one of
New York City’s deadliest gangs. Also, Holmes’ behavior becomes
increasingly erratic when he secretly interacts with a mysterious woman."
