'Dateline' Princess Diana's life and death chronicled 20 years later

"Dateline" (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired in Albuquerque, NM at 8 p.m. (central time) on KOB 4. Last night's 2-hour episode on May 5, 2017 was called, “The life and death of Princess Diana.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.78 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.8 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic (9-11 p.m.). “Hawaii Five-0" (CBS) grabbed 7.85 overall & 0.9 with adults. “Shark Tank” (ABC) nabbed 4.29 overall & 1.0 with adults.

“Dateline” is an investigative program focusing on crime & murder in the United States. The reporter and narrator is Andrea Canning.

“The life and death of Princess Diana.” It was August 1997 and Diana was in Paris, France with her male companion Dodi Al-Fayed. They left a hotel with their car driver and body guard who were followed by the paparazzi on motorcycles. They all entered a tunnel and a horrific crash killed the driver, princess Diana and Fayed. The body guard ended up in severe critical condition. This happened 20 years ago.

Princess Diana's life and death is still talked about in 2017. There are no interviews with the British royal family (Except Prince William and Harry who speak about their mom after death). Diana's close friends talk and speculate about her life. It began from the day she was engaged to Charles until her untimely death. She became a modern 1980's-90's superstar around the world. Underneath the so-called, “fairy-tale” marriage and family was real human lives...,
