'Dateline' Murder suspect changes her story 10 times

"Dateline" (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired in Albuquerque, NM at 8 p.m. (central time) on KOB 4. Last night's 2-hour episode on May 12, 2017 was called, “A shot in the dark.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.92 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.8 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic (9-11 p.m.). “Hawaii Five-0" (CBS) grabbed 7.89 overall & 1.0 with adults. “Shark Tank” (ABC) nabbed 4.1 overall & 0.8 with adults.

“Dateline” is an investigative program focusing on crime & murder in the United States. The reporter and narrator is Keith Morrison.

A shot in the dark.” Florida. Cara Ryan's former husband John Rush had just left her for the final time. He found a new girlfriend and wanted to spend more time with his daughter. Cara sent him an explicit sexual text message. He went over to her home and stepped inside. She shot him in the dark with a gun and he staggered over to a neighbor's door. 911 Emergency was called by that neighbor and also by Cara. The investigation began into the shooting death of John. Cara's story changed 10 times and it was recorded on video, plus audio tapes. Was she a victim of a home invasion? Or did she lure John back to kill him?
